Study: Fat in diets does not correlate with weight gain

The percentage of fat in a diet or the type of fat consumed have no impact on a person's weight over time, researchers say. "It is more important to aim for a healthy lifestyle including a balanced healthy diet and regular physical activity, than to focus on fat intake alone as a factor for weight gain," said one of the researchers.
