TV makers using steep price cuts to spark sales

As most consumers are remaining in retrenchment mode, TV manufacturers are hoping to spark additional sales by dramatically reducing the cost of some sizes of HDTVs. A new report from iSuppli said that the average cost of a 23-inch LCD TV now was $451 and that the average price of a 32-inch model was $600.
