Volunteer pilots fly food to Nevada Indian tribes

Angel Flight West pilots from Nevada will deliver shipments of food to several of the state's Indian tribes for Christmas. Angel Flight pilots volunteer their time and aircraft for medical flights during the year, but they also lend a helping hand delivering toys and food for the holidays. "This year's flight has special meaning for many of us because we will be helping tribal families put Christmas dinner on the table in remote locations of our state," said pilot Tom Porta of Reno, Nev.
