AGC economist: Construction spending poised to climb in 2011

There is some rosier news for the construction sector coming in 2011. That's according to Associated General Contractors Chief Economist Ken Simonson, who has forecast that total construction spending will hit its low point this year and tick higher in 2011. He sees construction spending rising 3% to 7% next year, lead by residential construction.
