Foreign wind-energy firms that win contracts in China are finding that the deals often come with strings attached. Companies are required to source components locally, and to provide training for homegrown manufacturers who benefit from government loans and cheap land grants. That's helped China's domestic wind sector grab about half of the $45 billion global market for wind turbines, experts say.
