Peet's adds medium-roast coffee to compete with Dunkin' Donuts

Peet's Coffee & Tea has added a medium-roast brew to the mix as part of push to appeal to a wider crowd of coffee lovers as it ramps up its eastward expansion. California-based Peet's operates 196 shops, five of them in Massachusetts, a state where many coffee lovers prefer the milder blends at Dunkin' Donuts to Peet's signature dark brew.
