Renesas offers 40nm memory intellectual property

Renesas Electronics is making available memory semiconductor intellectual property that can be manufactured with a 40-nanometer process. Next year, the chipmaker will use the IP to offer embedded flash microcontrollers for automotive applications, with sampling in the second half of 2012.
