VA challenges report of erroneous claim denials

The Department of Veterans Affairs says the findings of a National Center for Policy Analysis report on the rate of error associated with denials of disability benefits claims are based on outdated data. Nearly one-third of benefits claims submitted to the VA are likely to be denied, with 60% of the denials erroneous, the report charged.
