Japanese stocks jump to lead advances in Asian markets

After falling 5.6% on Friday, Japan's Nikkei 225 Average jumped 5.2% on Monday to lead increases in Asian markets. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index climbed 2%, China's Shanghai Composite inched up 0.4% and Taiwan's Taiex rose 3%. Singapore's Straits Times Index advanced 2%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 gained 2.3% and South Korea's Kospi soared 4.9%. New Zealand's NZX 50 Index was little changed.
