Missouri hospital adopts relationship-based care model

Freeman Neosho Hospital in Missouri is using a Small Hospital Improvement Grant of $8,000 for a relationship-based care initiative to bring nursing back to the bedside. The project includes bedside reporting as nurses change shifts, hourly rounding, and a focus on building relationships with patients and families.
