Mobile clinic brings primary care to poor areas of New Jersey

Nurse practitioners and medical students staff a mobile medical clinic that has expanded the economically depressed areas it serves in New Jersey. The van is sponsored by the School of Nursing at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and offers primary care, preventive screenings and the only access to health care for some people who use it.
