TowPlows will hit Ohio highways next winter

The Ohio Turnpike Commission has ordered eight TowPlows and will start using them next winter to clear interstate highways of snow. A TowPlow is essentially a trailer plow attached to a salt spreader and towed behind a snowplow truck. It has the ability to clear two traffic lanes at a time. The machines cost up to $82,000 each.
