FDA widens a crackdown on tainted dietary supplements

The FDA has asked companies and trade groups to participate in a crackdown on tainted pharmaceutical products that are marketed as dietary supplements. The three most common types of illegal supplements are those for bodybuilding, weight loss and sexual enhancement, the agency said.
