CEO Robinson retires at New York Times

Janet Robinson has resigned as chief executive officer of The New York Times, leaving Arthur Sulzberger Jr. to take over as interim CEO. Robinson, 61, will consult with the newspaper for at least another year. Robinson wrote in a memo, "I know that I am leaving the Company in the best position possible."
