JetBlue opts for Pratt & Whitney engines for A320neo

JetBlue Airways has selected Pratt & Whitney to provide 86 engines for its Airbus SAS A320neo jets. The carrier was also considering CFM International for engines for the aircraft order that was placed in June. The airline is the first U.S. customer to use the PurePower geared turbofan engine on the A320neo, the companies said.
