Wis. high-school students' field trip teaches about organ, body donation

More than 40 Chilton High School seniors recently took a field trip to a lab at the University of Wisconsin-Washington County to learn more about the human body and procedures used on cadavers donated for science and research. The students, who are taking a five-credit college course on human anatomy and physiology, also learned more about the process for donating their own bodies to science and organ donation to others. "Most have expressed an interest in the medical field and this is a very enriching experience," said high-school teacher Brittany Mayer.
