Although employers are intrigued by the new health savings accounts, touted as a cheaper option than traditional managed-care plans, few are jumping on the bandwagon just yet, experts say. "It's kind of an unknown concept. We're in an educational period," said Cynthia Eberl of Univera Healthcare. But a survey found nearly three in four U.S. employers are likely to offer HSAs in partnership with high-deductible health plans a year from now.
