OPEC aims to cut production by 2 million barrels a day

Attempting to reverse a decline in the price of oil, which closed at $44.51 a barrel Monday, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries is expected to slash production by 2 million barrels a day. OPEC hopes to bring the price back up to $75 a barrel, which Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah said is reasonable.
