Boring machine starts final piece of flood project in Wis.

A large boring machine this week began digging into a hill west of flood water storage basins in Wauwatosa, Wis. The tunneling work is the final part of a $100 million flood control project. The machine will dig a total distance of 2,722 feet and place pre-cast concrete in the tunnel.
