Anti-nuclear groups held a forum last week to tackle Florida Power & Light's proposal to construct two reactors at Turkey Point. The forum focused on the project's environmental and economic effects. But the company, which estimates the project to cost as much as $18 billion, disputed most of the concerns raised during the meeting. "Nuclear generation is part of an overall program to make our generation system smarter, greener and more efficient," an FPL spokesman said.
