J&J unit to acquire sinus surgical device maker for $785M

Johnson & Johnson's Ethicon division will pay $785 million in cash to acquire Acclarent, a maker of devices used in sinus surgery. The deal, which is expected to be finalized during the first quarter, will advance J&J's position in the ear, nose and throat market.
