Range posts significant increase in Marcellus output for 2009

Range Resources reached the high end of its 2009 forecast as its net output from the Marcellus Shale rose by almost four-fold. Production peaked at 100 million cubic feet of natural gas equivalent per day, compared with an outlook of 80 million to 100 million cubic feet daily, said the independent oil and gas producer.
