Groups collaborate to find health care best practices

The Mayo Clinic and five other health systems are collaborating with the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice on a project to exchange data on costs, quality and outcomes tied to common health issues and treatments. The project, designed to identify best practices, initially will focus on knee replacements, followed by diabetes and heart failure care.
