Strike could disrupt Carrefour's French stores

The CGT union called a one-day strike that could interfere with Carrefour's business in France. Employees are protesting the retailer's plan to extend working hours. Meanwhile, Carrefour's competitor in France, Auchan, said its December sales may be lessened by store closings forced by snow last week.
