The choice of U.S. Rep. and former radio station owner Greg Walden, R-Ore., to lead the House Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, and the Internet is being widely applauded by communications groups. "Greg Walden is a remarkably gifted public servant steeped in the nuances of communications policy and broadcast-related issues," said NAB President Gordon Smith. Walden tweeted the news of his selection in Morse code.
