Study: Intensive 30-minute workout helps blood sugar

A study in the Journal of Applied Physiology found that 30 minutes of very-intense exercise, plus a warm up and cool down, once a week may reduce blood sugar for 24 hours and reduce post-meal spikes in patients with type 2 diabetes. The Canadian researchers said this may be an option for people with a busy schedule who cannot fit in daily exercise.
