ACA cuts treatment options for illegal immigrants

Approximately 11 million illegal immigrants are facing fewer treatment options under the Affordable Care Act, which is intended to extend health care coverage to 32 million uninsured Americans by 2019. "The strain has reached the breaking point" in communities with the highest number of undocumented immigrants, American Hospital Association president Rich Umbdenstock has written. Eight states are home to two-thirds of illegal immigrants.
