Airbus, Boeing intensify competition for new aircraft

Airbus and Boeing have always competed for market share, but competition has intensified for the latest models of energy-efficient aircraft, experts say. "They always compete for market share, but there has been a change of pace in the battle between the A320neo and 737 MAX," said Richard Aboulafia, an aerospace analyst for the Teal Group. Air Canada recently ordered up to 109 jets from Boeing.
