Court rules against Fla. universities banning guns in cars

A ruling by a Florida appeals court says the state Constitution allows only lawmakers to prohibit the keeping of guns in cars at public colleges and universities. The decision was reached in a case involving such a ban at the University of North Florida. Officials of the school have not said whether they will appeal the ruling to the state Supreme Court.
