Designing training initiatives for inside sales success

Companies are leaning more heavily on their inside sales teams, which makes training these representatives an important consideration, writes Richard Ruff, co-founder of Sales Horizons. Online learning initiatives can be especially effective for training inside sales reps, who need to develop many of the same skills as their counterparts in the field, he writes. In addition, inside sales reps will need coaching and reinforcement if training is to be successful.
