Mass. district's curriculum zeroes in on math, science for all students

A Massachusetts school district is using a revised curriculum that focuses on math and science with a commitment that all students can grasp mathematical concepts. Kathleen Kirby, executive director of the Southeast Massachusetts STEM Network, said the curriculum will help the state address a growing gap in science, technology, engineering and math skills among graduates.
