Napa Valley Grapegrowers presents updates on rules, regulations

Crop insurance is available for grapes and can cover loss and reductions due to harsh weather, according to a presentation by California's Napa Valley Grapegrowers last week to vineyard managers and owners. The seminar, held to offer updates on recent and possible rules and regulations, offered other news including an explanation of vineyard burning regulations and a suggestion to return pomace to soil to help keep clear on air-quality regulations.
