The largest consumer market will be Europe and Asia-Pacific, but the North American market, which has gradually embraced probiotics, is expected to grow at a rate of 7%. "[The] probiotics market has been one of the prime beneficiaries of the recent fad over functional food," MarketsandMarkets said.
