FDA advisory panels recommend OTC access to morning-after pill

Two FDA advisory panels voted separately to recommend to the agency that it approve over-the-counter dispensing of the Plan B "morning-after" contraceptive. The controversial pill, in the process of being sold by Women's Capital to Barr Laboratories, could be bought over the counter by women who wish to use it within 72 hours of sexual intercourse.
