Report: Low-carb baked goods, cereals have staying power

Although low-carb diets have lost some of their luster for Americans, the low-carb bakery sector continues to show promise thanks to a decision by food companies to tweak popular brands to introduce low-carb selections, which has caused a boom in sales, a new report says. The report does forecast, however, that this sector's growth will begin to slowly decline annually through 2009.
