Fla. power provider to generate 100 megawatts with solar power

Florida power providers are jumping on board with state mandates that will require 20% of utilities' power to come from renewable sources. The Florida Municipal Power Agency, which includes Ocala Electric Utility and its 54,000 customers as one of its members, said it plans to generate 100 megawatts during the next five years from solar power. FMPA will begin implementing its project next year.
