Many concerned about safety of crumbling Minnesota bridge

Lawmakers and residents alike in Minnesota are concerned about the deterioration of the Hastings Bridge, which crosses the Mississippi River and is the busiest two-lane span in Minnesota. Despite corrosion and cracks on the structure, built in 1950, state transportation officials have taken no action to fix the bridge.
