Analysts look for FedEx to park planes, cut jobs as profits dive

With FedEx expected to report a huge drop in profits Thursday, analysts say the package shipping giant will be forced to cut jobs, retire jets and scale back expansion plans. "FedEx is a premium services company and a transportation company, and both of those sectors get hit badly in an economy like this," says Dan Ortwerth, an Edward Jones & Co. analyst.
