FDA approves lithium test from Diazyme Laboratories

The FDA has given 510(k) clearance to Diazyme Laboratories to sell a liquid enzymatic test kit designed to measure the levels of lithium in blood specimens. The product, which offers enhanced reagent stability, shows no major interference from indigenous ions, hemoglobin and other obstructing substances.
