Landrieu replaces Kerry as small-business chair

Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., has been named chairman of the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, replacing Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., who will become chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Susan Eckerly, NFIB's vice president for federal public policy, said she hopes Landrieu will help small businesses gain better access to federal projects by opposing the practice of bundling contracts.
