Recent reporting on aviation issues has shown a marked bias toward the airline industry, writes John F. Infanger, editorial director of Airport Business magazine. As evidence, Infanger notes a series of USA TODAY articles critical of FAA grants to general aviation airports. The paper "needs to send one of its experienced aviation writers out to a number of business aviation airports around the nation and see what benefits they bring to local communities and commerce," Infanger writes. "Commercial air carrier airports aren't the only cogs in the U.S. air transportation system."
