Landscape architect creates structural patterns with tulip bulbs

Dutch landscape architect Jacqueline van der Kloet has become known for the tonal and structural patterns she creates by scattering select tulip bulbs among perennials. She suggests finding an item in your garden that can be anchored by bulbs and selecting a color scheme based on lighting. Van der Kloet recommends dividing the bulbs by size and planting them in layers.
