Physical fitness is focus of program for people with disabilities

A fitness-and-nutrition program sponsored by a disability advocacy group is promoting the benefits of maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle among people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Pennsylvania. "Our main goal is to keep them independent," one trainer with the LifeFit program said. "We don't want them to just come and exercise, we want them to understand why."
