RIM solves temporary BlackBerry e-mail outage problems:

Research in Motion said that it was not sure why e-mail service had been delayed earlier this week on some of its BlackBerry smartphones but that the issue had been isolated and resolved. An independent analyst said the glitch apparently affected individuals and small businesses and not large enterprise customers.
