AIAA to examine civilian applications of UAVs

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics will hold a symposium in March to bring together policymakers, designers, manufacturers and consumers to discuss civilian applications of unmanned aerial vehicles. Included in the discussion will be the role of UAVs in wildfire detection and management, event security, disaster relief and remote aerial mapping, among other issues.
