Patients in need are flown by angels

Angel Flight organizes volunteer pilots across the country who provide air transport to patients in need of medical treatment not available locally. The pilots pay all costs for the flights themselves. "It's a win-win. Pilots like to fly and patients need a ride," said Randy Richison of Norman, Okla. "To me, it's meaningful. My mission, my purpose, is helping someone directly."
