Demanding regulatory environment and weak economy continue to affect suppliers

A panel of aviation executives at the Wichita Aero Club's On-Air Summit in Wichita, Kan., said the economic downturn has affected how aviation companies do business. Representatives from Air Capital Interiors, Global Aviation Technologies and Cox Machine said manufacturers have had to become more efficient to stay competitive. Taking advantage of new technologies and better supply-chain management is key, they said.
