Gender pay gap shrinks, but more can be done

Women ages 25 to 34 earned 93% as much as their male counterparts on an hourly basis in 2012, according to a study from the Pew Research Center, showing an uptick from 83% in 1990. In addition, the study found that three-fourths of young women believe more must be done to promote gender equality, but only 57% of men in the same age group share that sentiment.
