Report recommends ablative fractional laser to treat traumatic scars

Ablative fractional laser should be considered in combination with other therapies to treat burn and traumatic scars, according to a consensus document published in JAMA Dermatology. "Our consensus is that laser treatment, particularly ablative fractional resurfacing, deserves a prominent role in future paradigms for scar treatment," the authors write.
