Scientists create antibodies that could prevent malaria

A team of researchers from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore have created antibodies that could prevent the malaria parasite from entering red blood cells and causing infection. The team also developed a technique using high-throughput fluorescent scanning to determine whether the antibodies or vaccines effectively prevented the invasion of red blood cells.
